The King Richard III Visitor Centre is celebrating 10 years since the extraordinary rediscovery of King Richard III beneath a car park in Leicester. Groups can explore the incredible story of the last English king to die in battle and the first to be identified through DNA, with a visit to his actual grave site and the multi-award-winning exhibition about his life, death, and rediscovery. New for 2023 is a fascinating digital display showcasing the evolution of the Greyfriars precinct over 500 years, including Richard’s burial in 1485, the 2012 archaeological dig, and the transformation of the area through time.
